Felted Cashmere Face Mask | Natural Dye | Adjustable

Cashmere Face Mask updated designs are all felted and shrunk to half the regular knit size to increase the filtration of air particles. The tightly felted, double layered cashmere structure filters the air better than most materials as explained by the Brownian movement which is the movement of particles in the air. The movement of these particles through felted hair – which has a random structure – creates a type of filter that does not interfere with comfort in breathing, while still being able to screen various particles. This is how natural filtering already occurs, for example, with the movement of particles through the tiny hairs in our noses as we breathe. In fact, wool's filtration ability is well documented historically.

Cashmere is the thinnest (14-16 microns), the highest quality wool. Cashmere is naturally thermo – regulating, odor resistant, washable, non-allergenic, durable, and UV resistant.  

Cashmere Face Mask sits closely around the cheeks and the bendable nose bridge give personalized fit around the nose.  

Natural dye cashmere is gentle on the skin, the environment, and the cashmere itself. The fine fibers break down during chemical bleaching the hair.   

We gently hand dye with natural dye to preserve quality and avoid fiber breakage. In that way, you will get much softer and durable goodies. By the way, the naturally dyed colors are unique: they will fade, may vary slightly from the picture.  

Composition and the Maker: 100% certified sustainable Mongolian cashmere, 2 ply yarn. It is biodegradable, renewable source product. We source our cashmere directly from Mongolian herder cooperatives in the Gobi Desert to support sustainable land usage and animal well-being. We also offer repair and recycle service too. Proudly knit in our Oakland California knit studio.
